Mr. William Crandall, Jr., aged 77, of Fort Plain, NY, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026, at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation.

Born on July 10, 1949, in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late William Crandall Sr. and Lois Conrad Crandall, Bill was a dedicated and skilled auto mechanic. He spent the last 20 years of his life in the Fort Plain area, previously residing in Middleburg, NY, and Austin, Texas.

A man of strong Baptist faith, Bill cherished his time woodworking, crafting numerous picnic tables, woodsheds, potting tables, and kennels.

He is survived by his beloved partner, Jamie Crandall; his sister, June Guertin of Connecticut; and cousins in New Jersey.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home in Canajoharie, NY. He will be laid to rest at Canajoharie Falls.
