Mr. Terry Lee Dygert, Sr., of Tubbs Road, Town of Canajoharie, passed away Saturday May 15 at Bassett of Cooperstown. Terry was born in Little Falls, NY December 28, 1958, the son of Charles H. Dygert, Sr. and Mary Lou. Button Dygert, who both pre-deceased him. He was educated in Canajoharie Schools. He was the owner and operator of Terry's Tire Service, as well as working for the Town of Canajoharie Highway Department for 26 years. He lived his entire lifetime in the local area. Terry was of Baptist faith and enjoyed colleting gas engines and antiques. He belonged to several antique engine clubs also. In December 2004 he married Jeanine Hazzard, whom he had a 30 plus year relationship with. He was predeceased by his brother Dennis Dygert, and two grandchildren.. Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Dygert; children, Mary Beth Dygert (Mark Varone), Kathy Swart, Terry Dygert Jr., (Darlene), Stacey Servidone (Jim Farrington), Larry, and Jack (Tara); Brothers Jerry and Ellie Dygert, Randy and Michelle Dygert, Chuck and Heidi Dygert; Sister Barbara and Bruce Clouither, Sr.; many Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
