Mr. Steven R. Jones, 59, of Brookmanns Corner Road, Fort Plain, New York died Thursday, April 14, 2022 at his home.

Born on March 2, 1963 in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of Richard Jones and Rose Smith Nemecek. He attended Fort Plain Schools and was a lifelong area resident.

He enjoyed farming in his younger years.

Steven liked camping, hunting, working on vehicles, being out and about, and spending time with family.

His brother, Richard Jones and sister, Debbie Weaver predeceased him.

Mr. Jones is survived by his father and step-mother, Richard and Donna Jones; mother, Rose Nemecek (Marty); children, Kayla Jones, Steven Jones, Jr., David Horning, Charity Schuyler, Darrell Reeder; brothers, Mark Jones, Gary Jones, Philip Jones; sister, Eileen Jones; step-brothers, Randy Rozkydal, Jamie Leonard, and Pete Leonard; step-sisters, Bonnie Ruess and Donielle Goebel; grandchildren, Rafael Medina, Quinn Medina, Devon Medina, Conner Dillenbeck, David Jones, Isabelle Jones.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
