Mr. Simon Every, 57, of Otsego Street, Canajoharie, New York died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his home. Born on February 22, 1964 in Bedford, UK, he was the son of Frederick Every and Shirley Knapper Every. He was educated in England and had been a resident of the Canajoharie area since early 2021, previously residing in Kingston, NY. Simon was a machinist for Fabteck in Kingston, NY for most of his life. He loved camping, flashlights, painting, and fixing things. He was an all around handyman. He enjoyed aviation and all things related to it. His parents predeceased him. Mr. Every is survived by his daughters, Catlin Johnson, Shaelynn Every; former wife and companion, Brenda Every; sister, Stephanie Mills; grandchildren, Noah, Eytan, Amiti, Jason, Jenny, Dante, Emmett, and Wyatt. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 2:00PM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home.
