Mrs. Rosemary Reese, 76, of Canajoharie, NY passed away on the morning of December 6, 2024, at the Wynn Hospital, Utica, NY.

She was born on July 6, 1948, in Cooperstown, NY, the daughter of the Late Guy Siegle and Margaret Armstrong Siegle, who survived.

Rosemary was a graduate of Cherry Valley High School.

Most recently she was employed as a home health aid at Lincare of Gloversville. She also enjoyed helping her cousin Marie in her dog grooming business.

She lived most of her life in the Canajoharie Area.

Rosemary was a member of St. John and St. Marks Lutheran church, the Canajoharie Moose, and enjoyed bowling.

She was married to David C. Reese who predeceased her in death on November 25, 2013.

She was also predeceased by her daughter Katherine "Katie" Reese-Young; sisters Viola E. Pliszek, and Andrea Null; and brother William "Billy" Field.

Survivors include her daughter Andrea L. and her husband Dom Luca; son Carl W. and his wife Kimberly; brothers Elmer and his wife Mary Field, Guy John and his wife Cindy Siegle, and Marty Field; and a sister Diane Field; grandchildren Nicole Swain, Merisa Swain, Brandon Swain, Carl W. Reese II, and Michelle Reese; great-grandchildren, Damon, Abigail, Carl W. III, Cassidy, Azlyn, and Amirah; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family and are under the direction of Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
