Obituary

Roger Allen Baker, Jr., 43, passed away Friday, born in Gloversville, New York, he is the son of Roger Allen Baker, Sr. (Dian) of Ephratah, NY and Toni Arduini Mescia of Garner.


Mr. Baker was the owner-operator of a home inspection service in Clayton, NC working alongside his brother. He was a loving family man, treasured son and brother, and loyal friend full of ambition, laughter and generosity. He enjoyed the simple things in life including baseball, fishing, sitting on his back porch with his fiancé, chatting with his family and friends, and spending time with his sons.


In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Kristie Dillman; sons, Daxton Baker and Bradley Dillman of Clayton; sisters, Gail Baker (Stephen Brooks) of Raleigh and Destinee Baker (Jason Armstrong) of Ephratah, NY; brother, Alex Mescia (Mackenzie Blanton) of Clayton; nephews, Kyle Kapp of Raleigh, Evan Baker and Corbin Baker, both of Ephratah, NY and Ryder Brooks of Raleigh as well as many cousins.


The family and friends of Roger welcome you to celebrate his life on June 19 from 1:00 Pm - 3:00 PM at Fireman's Park in Fort Plain, NY. We invite you to meet the family to extend condolences, share loving memories and be surrounded by Roger's spirit and people so important to him.
