Mr. Richard J. "Cowboy" (a nickname that came from a dear friend) LaBelle, Jr., 69, of Fort Plain, NY, died on October 16, 2025, at his home on Center Street, Fort Plain, NY, unexpectedly.

He was born in California on November 9th, 1955, the son of Richard J. LaBelle, Sr., and Dorothy Young LaBelle.

Richard had served in the US Army, enjoyed hanging out with friends, country music, NASCAR,  and watching football, and was a fan of the Giants.

His parents preceded him.

Friends and family survive him.

He will be laid to rest at a later date with his mother.
