Mrs. Pauline Kneaskern Davis, 94, formerly of Clyde Street, Fort Plain, New York died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Palatine Nursing Home.

Born on November 4, 1922 in Sharon Springs, NY, she was the daughter of Maynard Mereness and Freida Baker Mereness. She attended Sharon Springs School.

Mrs. Davis worked for Davis' Bike Shop as well as Beech-Nut for 14 years.

She enjoyed painting, sewing, bowling, and camping.

In 1969 she was married to Arthur Davis. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2015. Her daughter Patricia Hendrickson and grandson, John Clinton also predeceased her.

Mrs. Davis is survived by son, William C. Kneaskern and his wife Sherry of Summerfield, FL; two step-sons, Lon and his wife Gabby Davis of Florida, and Larry Davis of Albany, NY; grandchildren, Jason Kneaskern, Beth Clinton, Michael Clinton; two great-granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held on Friday June 30, 2017, at 1:00PM at Fort Plain Cemetery with Rev. Nancy Ryan officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Mrs. Pauline Davis may be made to the charity of one's choice.
