Patrick Blair, Sr., 63, of Flansburg Road, Canajoharie, NY, passed away in the comfort of his home with the company of his loving dogs. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late John Blair and Mary Heneghan Blair, who survives.

Patrick was educated in NYC Schools. He went on to work on many boats in the NY Harbor, his hard work leading him to become the captain of several ships he worked on. Most of his adult life was spent in the local area.

He was of the Catholic faith and loved fast cars and his beloved dogs.

In 1986, in St. Johnsville, NY, he married Sherry Benton.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Blair; mother, Mary Blair; son, Patrick Blair, Jr, and his wife, Lisa Blair; daughter Jacklyn and her husband, Mike Clark; six brothers, Jack "John", Jim, Mike, Danny, Kevin. and Brenden and three sisters Mary, Ann and Tish; grandchildren, Gabriel, Caitlynn, and Autumn; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Following his wishes, he will be cremated, and there will be no services at this time. Patrick is being cared for by Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
