Obituary

It is with great sorrow to announce that Patricia May Buddles, "Patti", passed away on September 14, 2019.  Patti, who was born July 12, 1941 in Ilion, NY to parents Robert and Erma Tanner Mosher, passed away early Saturday morning in her home.

Patti is survived by her 2 sons, Sean Buddles (Tanya Wintermute) of Dolgeville and Jason Buddles with his wife Paige of Fort Johnson; a sister, Ann Christensen (Anton)of St Johnsville; and 2 brothers, Robert Mosher Jr (Judy) of Duluth, MN and Clark Mosher (Michelle Mackel) of Saratoga Springs. She was predeceased by her brother Glen Harris (Margaret) and sister Barbara Keyser (Carl).

Patti spent most of her life in Fort Plain and the surrounding areas.  She spent several years working at the local Grand Union and was a fixture at the deli counter. When not working, Patti enjoyed drawing and painting, wood working, and writing short stories and poems.  Patti was a giving, caring person who could always be counted on to help her friends or family.  Anyone who knew Patti, knows this was the most important thing in her life. When Patti retired, she stayed busy helping those closest to her in any way she could.  Patti could be found almost daily at the St Johnsville nursing home where her father spent his last years.  She would take her beloved puppy "Izzy", and they were the hit of the nursing home.  When not there, Patti would spend a lot of time at her church attending mass, leading prayer groups or the stations of the cross.
