Mrs. Muriel A. Morgan, 97, of Klemme Road, Sprakers, Ny died on September 24, 2022, at the Mountain Valley Hospice House. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 6, 1925, the daughter of Earl and Helen Kunkel Filkins, both who predeceased her.

She was a graduate of Ossining High School. After graduation she took several college courses before settling into a job at GE in Croton, NY retiring as an executive secretary in 1974.

In 2004 she moved to Sprakers, living most of her life prior to that in Ossining, NY

Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Ossining Post #506 American Legion.

In 1948 she had married Frederick Morgan, a union that lasted until his passing in 1984.

She was also predeceased by her son, Richard in 1973, and a sister.

Her son Robert Morgan of Sprakers, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins survive her.

Private interment services will take place at a later date in Hyde Park, NY.
