Mrs. Minnie M. Weaver, 81, of Hickory Hill Road, Fort Plain, NY died on April 1, 2023, at St. Mary's Healthcare, Amsterdam, NY.

Born on June 27, 1941, in Rhinebeck, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. Rhoades and Sadie Cullen Rhoades. She was a graduate of Pine Bush Central School and had been a local area resident for over 30 years, previously residing in Kinderhook, NY.

Mrs. Weaver worked for Charles Schwab. She loved Shitzu's and Yorkie's and had an animal farm at Howes Caverns with horses, miniature horses, sheep and goats.

On June 27, 1987, in Chatham, NY Minnie was married to Raymond W. "Bud" Weaver who predeceased her on June 10, 2015.

She was predeceased by her son Michael Allen Cortright; sisters Marguerite Davis and Holly Davis; brothers, Robert "Bobby" Rhoades, Harold Rhoades; and grandson Ryan.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by her daughter, Lori Timian (Randy) of North Carolina; son Roger Cortright, III of Fort Plain, NY; stepson, Raymond, Jr (Cookie).; siblings Joann Prince, Peggy Davis,; grandchildren Sherry (Ricky), Sena (Josh), Jared ( Hailey), Seneca (Justin), Katarina, and several other grandchildren; great-grandchildren Bryson, Tyler, Conner Parker, Eylie, Judah, Shiloh and several other great grandchildren; her beloved dogs, Faith, Sophia, and Ethrom as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday April 6th , 2023 at 11:00 am at Houghtaling and Smith Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317 with Rev. Wayne Cole officiating. A period of visitation will take place from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the funeral.

A burial will take place at Ephratah Cemetery.
