Mr. Michael Florance, 29, of Nelliston, New York died Thursday, September 24, 2020 at North East Center for Rehab and Brain Injury in Lake Katrine, following a long illness. Born on April 9, 1991, he was the son of Marc W. Florance, Sr. and Dorothy Hoiser Florance. He had been a resident of Lake Katrine for the past 2 years, previously residing in Nelliston. He was of Catholic faith. Michael loved music and family. His mother; brother, Marc Florance, Jr.; and Aunt Laura predeceased him. Michael is survived by his grandmother, Leona Brewer; father, Marc W. Florance, Sr.; aunt Barbara Hoiser; uncle, John Hawin; niece, Madison Florance, Jr.; sister in law, Jenna Florance; sister, JamieLynn LaHut. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
