Melissa H. Nalli died on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
A longtime resident of Fort Plain NY, she died at her current residence, The Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Born in Breakabeen, NY on May, 15, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Inez (Bouck) Hagarbome.
Melissa was married to Albert T. Nalli on June 9, 1946 at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Fort Plain, NY
Mrs. Nalli was retired from Beech-Nut Lifesavers Inc. where she was employed for over 42 years.
She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church. A member of the Altar Rosary Society, she served in many volunteer capacities, including her prideful care of the altar cloths.
Melissa was an avid quilter, a wonderful cook and baker, and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She cherished (and was cherished by) her large and loving family and her beloved dog, Rudy.
She is survived by her two children: Dr. Albert R. Nalli and his wife Barbara of London, OH , and Tosca N. Carpenter and her husband Robert of Bloomingdale, NY; three grandchildren, Joshua Nalli, Simone Kiper, and Zack Carpenter; and eight great grandchildren, Margot, Mason and Maggie Nalli, Ellie, Ben & Luc Kiper and Zoe and Leland Carpenter.
She is also survived by three sisters: Betty Harden, Inez Davenport and Carol Hall and many nieces and nephews.
Melissa was predeceased by her husband, Albert T. Nalli.
A Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at Noon at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY. Burial will follow at Fort Plain Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
