Mrs. Marylou Hohenshild, 99, of Freysbush Road, Fort Plain, NY, passed away at her daughter's home, under the care of hospice, with her family by her side.

She was born in St. Johnsville, NY, on December 4, 1926, the daughter of the late Clifford and Mae Crawshaw Hoffman.

From 1975 until her retirement in May 1987, she worked at Lifesavers in Canajoahrie, NY.

For several years after her retirement, she enjoyed going to Florida in the winters; she also enjoyed knitting, baking, crosswords, and word search puzzles.

She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Clifford Ray Hohenshild; her grandson, Curtis Baxter; her 3 sisters, Margaret Hoffman, Audrey Kretser, Evelyn Henza, and Mary L. Heaues; and her granddaughter, Sandra VerNon.

Survivors include her 4 children: David H. (Kathy) Hohenshild of Utah, Barbara (Sandy) Moots of Delaware, Linda (Gary) Buddles of Fort Plain, NY, and Holly (Bill) Hamel of Johnstown, NY; grandson Jordan Baxter of Palatine Bridge; and one great-grandson, Derek Rivera of Little Falls, NY.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fort Plain Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.

Private interment will take place at Fort Plain Cemetery.
