Marie (Belcamino) Fiaschetti, 81, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 3,
2026, at Palatine Nursing Home. Marie was born on November 24, 1944, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to the late Reginald and Viola (Lushua) Belcamino. Marie spent the majority of her life in the Rome, New York, area before relocating to the Mohawk Valley. She enjoyed living independently in Palatine Bridge before making her home at Arkell Hall in Canajoharie. Marie had a special fondness for Betty Boop and loved playing BINGO. These simple pleasures brought her happiness. She will be fondly remembered for the little things that brought her joy and the memories she leaves behind. On April 6, 1968, Marie was united in marriage to Vincent "Jimmy" Fiaschetti, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Amanda(Metzger) Fiaschetti. Marie is survived by her four children, Romona Fiaschetti of Rome, Kimberley Fiaschetti of Camden, Jim Fiaschetti (Tara Hogan) of Canajoharie, and Rocco Fiaschetti of Rome. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer (Macri) Moshenberg and her husband, Alex, of Vermont; Sarah Macri of South Carolina; Joseph Fiaschetti of Canajoharie; and Jimmy Fiaschetti and his wife, Olivia, of Clark Mills. Marie also leaves behind two cherished great-grandchildren, Nathan Langston and Daphne Moshenberg. Marie will be remembered with love by her family and all those whose lives she touched. A private service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home in Canajoharie, NY.
