Mr. Lyman Eggleston, 67, formerly of Fort Plain and most recently of Lakeside Ave., Amsterdam, New York passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at St. Johnsville Rehab & Nursing Center, following a brief illness.

Born on September 12, 1951 in Cherry Valley, NY, he was the son of Courtney Eggleston and Frances Hall Sanders.  He was a lifetime area resident.

Mr. Eggleston was a self-employed handyman.

His mother and sister, Debbie Hall both predeceased him.

Mr. Eggleston is survived by his sisters, Ann Handy and her husband, Brad of Amsterdam, NY, Ida Hall of Oneida, NY; and several cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
