Mr. Levon Jessup Schilling, 47 most recently of Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY passed away September 22, 2021 at his home. He was born in Schenectady, NY on November 1, 1973, the son of Karl Schilling and Marie Filipek Schilling. Levon was a graduate of Spring Valley High School, South Carolina class of 1990. He then attended College of Charleston. Levon was a member of The American Chemical Society and The Association of Analytical Chemists, and has had his works published in many scientific journals. Most recently he had been the lab director and lead chemist at Vida-Blend in Amsterdam. Levon previously worked at Milestones Inc in Connecticut and Albany Molecular Research Inc in Rensselaer NY. Survivors include his daughter Hanna Schilling; his parents Karl and Marie Schilling; and his sister Erin Schilling Kupcak and her husband Jason Kupcak. A Graveside service for his friends and family to celebrate his life will be held on October 1, 2021 at 11:00 Am at St. Cyril and Method Cemetery, 611 Duanesburg Road. Rotterdam, NY 12036.
