Mr. Larry D. Gattman, 62, of Liberty Street, St. Johnsville, New York died Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, following a brief illness. Born on August 17, 1959 in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of Earl F. Gattman, Sr. and Lois A. Siegle Gattman. He was a graduate of Fort Plain High School and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Gattman worked fulltime at Richardson Brands doing a variety of jobs. He also worked parttime at Price Chopper and worked for WW Custom Clad for a short time. He was a past member of the Canajoharie/Fort Plain Elks. He enjoyed traveling to Alexandria Bay quite often. He was a member of the Lion's Club. He was an avid fan of the Jets and the Mets. Everyone who knew him, loved him. He will be missed by many. His sisters, Bonnie Zeidner and Linda Zeidner predeceased him. Larry is survived by his brothers, Earl F. Gattman, Jr., Michael G. Gattman and Lisa Dolly, Glen B. Gattman and Tina; sister, Debbie Zeidner-Gattman; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 4:00-7:00PM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY.
