Miss Kimberly D. Lindell, 51, of Main Street Fort Plain, New York passed away, Monday, December 25, 2017 at St. Johnsville Rehab & Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 14, 1966 in Mountain View, CA, she was the daughter of Albert Leach and Judith Maine Leach. She was a graduate of Oppenheim Ephratah High School and received her Associate's Degree in Accounting from FMCC. She spent most of her life in the Fort Plain area. Kimberly was employed through Walmart Distribution Center #6096 in Johnstown, NY, for 15 years. Prior to working for Walmart she spent 20 years working for Lee Publications. In addition to working, Kimberly was also a mother and homemaker. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her 5 wonderful children on her own. Kimberly enjoyed crafts of all sorts. She was a Cub Master for several years. She enjoyed reading, golf, playing games, and spending time with family. Her mother, Judith Leach; step-mother, Bonita Leach; brothers, Mark Lindell and Tracey Leach predeceased her. Miss Lindell is survived by her father, Albert Leach of Ephratah, NY; 5 children, Jessica Lindell of Fort Plain, NY, Jeremy Blair and his wife, Hillary of Schoharie, NY, Joseph Lindell and Sam Evans of Herkimer, NY, Monica Boyer Lindell of Fort Plain, NY, Tiffany Boyer of Fort Plain, NY; siblings, Ronald Lindell, Tina Mays (Al), Tommy Leach (Trisha), Bobby Pawlayzck (Brenda), Christine Leach, Adam Leach (Christine), Amy Christiano (Rich), Josh Leach; grandchildren, Payton and Kobe Skiffington; longtime best-friend, Margaret Archer; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Noon at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Ames Cemetery at a later date.
