Mr. Joseph D. Hudson, Sr., 33, of South St. Johnsville Road, Fort Plain, New York died Friday, April 17, 2020 at home.

Born on June 24, 1986 in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of Joseph H. Hudson, Jr. and Mary Ann Bauer Oldick. He was a lifetime area resident, a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, and he attended Herkimer County Community College.

Joseph was a self-employed carpenter.

He was of Catholic faith.

He enjoyed picking quartz, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved life, especially spending time with his children and friends.

His longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Natalie, predeceased him on December 25, 2017.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Oldick; father, Joseph H. Hudson, Jr.; son, Joseph D. Hudson, Jr.; daughters, Kara Hudson, Abigail Hudson; sisters, Alexis Hudson, Leah Oldick, Dawn Oldick; brother, Jeffrey Oldick; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are private. Burial will take place at Village of St. Johnsville Cemetery.
