Mr. Jeremiah J. Goldswer, 25, most recently of Fonda, New York died unexpectedly, Thursday evening, June 8, 2017 at his home. Born November 21, 1991 in Albany, NY, he was the son of Martha E. Goldswer. He was a graduate of Fort Plain High School, Class of 2009. He spent most of his life in Fort Plain, residing in Fonda these past two years. Most recently Jeremiah worked for Key-Mark in Fonda in the maintenance department. He had also worked in the maintenance department for Liberty. Jeremiah was an avid fisherman. He loved being outdoors. He loved video games, collecting things, reading, and being with family and friends. He enjoyed listening to modern country music. When he was in High School, he was a member of the Fort Plain Bowling Team. Jeremiah is survived by his mother, Martha E. Goldswer of Palatine Bridge, NY; 3 sisters, Kathleen Guest of Fultonham, NY, Katie Lynn Goldswer of Ithaca, NY, Tina Goldswer of Fort Plain, NY; 5 brothers, Michael C. Kelley of Chesapeake, VA, Patrick S. Kelley of Rotterdam, NY, John K. Goldswer, II of Fort Plain, NY, Jason K. Goldswer of Waterville, OH, Benjamin C. Goldswer; 1 aunt, 12 nieces and nephews, and several cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:00am at The Fort Plain Reformed Church, Canal Street, Fort Plain, NY with Rev. Nancy Ryan officiating.
