Mr. Herbert Weich, 74, of Rappa Road, Sprakers, NY, passed away on April 9, 2024.

He was born on October 17, 1949, in Waldorf, Germany, the son of the late Edmond Weich and Elisa Lenz Weich.

The family then moved to Ballston Spa and eventually settled in Canajoharie, NY. Here, he worked on the family farm and, when that was sold, became a brake mechanic.

He enjoyed working on cars and taking care of his border collies.

He is survived by a special cousin, Chris Walther (Shelly), his kids, and his great-niece, Azlyn. He also had a special friend, Tina Kelly, and her granddaughter Kendra, who enjoyed his company and stories.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Kathy Weich.

Cremation arrangments are under the direction of Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. There will be no services at Herbert's request.
