Ms. Glenda Joyce Messick Stilwell, 77, of Raleigh, NC passed peacefully at home on July 11, 2021 of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was born on February 25, 1944 in Lake Whales, FL. She was a graduate of Frostproof High School, Class of 1962. Glenda was a Bridge Inspector, who loved her job. She retired in 2018. She was predeceased by her mother, Florine Sheppard Dunn; father, Cleo Messick; sister, Janice Messick O'Hara; brother, James (Jim) Brackin. Glenda leaves behind 6 children, Anthony (Joe) Bullard, Gregg Granthum, Melinda (Mindy) Taylor, Melissa (Missy) Kendrick, Laurie Smith, Charles (Chuck) Stilwell, as well as their families; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Tedd Messick, Tony Messick, Gail Messick Perlaki, Syble Messick Cocozza. She loved her family most of all and she enjoyed traveling, dancing, and singing, at any given moment. Her warmth and kindness was felt by all who knew her.
