Gilbert Voght passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2023. Gilbert was born on August 2, 1952 and was the son of Richard C. Voght and Beatrice C. Vosburgh Voght. He graduated from Canajoharie High School and was the proprietor of Valley View Builders for many years, specializing in carpentry and masonry work.

Gilbert was predeceased by both parents. He is survived by his daughter Carly An (Jason) Nellis and a son. He is also survived by his sister Caryl L. Voght and his brother Daniel R. (Lyn) Voght, grandchildren Alysa An Nellis andJoshua Curtis Nellis as well as a niece, two nephews and many cousins. .

Services and burial will be private at a later date.
