Mr. Donald R. "Donny" Beaver, of Gloversville and formerly of 14 Wheeler Street, Canajoharie, New York died Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. He was a graduate of Canajoharie High School, Class of 1955. He worked for Beech-Nut for many years and was also a bartender for the Valley Inn. Donny is a veteran of the US Army. Born in 1936, the son of Raymond Bever and Dorothy (Atkins). Mr. Beaver is survived by 3 sons, Dale, Philip, Joel; brother, Adelbert "Leon" Beaver; sisters, Betty Clifford and Barbara Lambert; 3 half-sisters, Sheila Whitbeck, Geraldine Istle, and Diana Abbott. Predeceased by his brother James "Jim" Bever. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY.
