Obituary

Mrs. Debra A. Bartlett, 62, most recently of Stone Arabia Road, Fort Plain died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at St. Mary's Healthcare in Amsterdam.
Born on April 4, 1960 in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of James R. Booth, III and Dorothy Mahr Booth. She attended Canajoharie High School. Debra lived in Crossville, Tennesse for 16 years, and prior to that spent some time in Amsterdam.
She worked for Lowes for the past 10 years and had also worked for WIS, Celeco, LeePub/PennySaver.
She was a member of the BPOE Eagles and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, going to the casinos, and Tennesse Volunteer's Basketball.
On October 1, 2021 Debra's companion of 29 years, John Palmer predeceased her.
Mrs. Bartlett is survived by her children, Trish Booth (John), Stephanie Battisti (Matt), Amy Bartlett (Aaron), Charles Bartlett (Hayleigh), Kimberly Bartlett, Chad Bartlett (Maggie), Jamie Wilmot (Richard), BillieJo Bartlett; grandchildren, Daniel, Ivory, Gabrielle, Clayton, Michelle, McKayla, Ethan, Brianna, Elyssa, Ayden, Chad, Jr., Christian, Rylie, Easton, Olivia, Elizabeth, Alexis; great-grandchildren, Summer, Finley.
The family invites relatives and friends on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY. The funeral service is private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
