Darla Palmatier, 55, of Canal Street, Fort Plain, NY, passed away at home on September 15th, 2025.

Darla was born on February 9, 1970, in Cobleskill, NY, the daughter of Ward Arnold, Sr., and Mildred Lillian Arnold, both of whom predeceased her in death.

She attended Schoharie Central Schools.

For the past 30 or so years, she has called Fort Plain home.

She enjoyed being with friends and family, and loved her cats and fish.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Jeff  Bedell.

Survivors include her daughter, Kayla Clifford; companion, Marc Jones, Sr.; granddaughter, Ari; brothers, Greg Bedell, Lee Bedell, Ward Arnold, Jr., Richard Arnold, Austin Arnold, and Allen Westerman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her special nieces, Savannah "daughter from another mother" and Renesmee "Little Jerk".

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fort Plain Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.

Following her wishes, there will be no formal services.
