Mr. Daniel P. Reinhart, 29, of Los Angeles, CA, passed away, unexpectedly, on Friday, January 12, 2018 at UCLA Ronald Regan Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on November 17, 1988 in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of Douglas M. Fretty and Lynn M. Reinhart.  Daniel was a high school graduate, graduating in Los Angeles.

He loved to cook and enjoyed working in Culinary Arts in Los Angeles.

Mr. Reinhart moved to Los Angeles on June 29, 2006.  He previously resided in Fort Plain, NY.

He was of Catholic faith.

Daniel worked at The Bel-Air Country Club before taking on different cooking positions in the restaurant business.  He enjoyed golf, and fishing.  He loved playing basketball, and going to sporting events.  Most of all, he loved life.

Mr. Reinhart is survived by his mother, Lynn M. Reinhart of Fort Plain, NY; father, Douglas M. Fretty and his wife, Nengah Handayani of Los Angeles, CA; maternal grandmother, Carol Suderley of Canajoharie, NY; maternal grandfather, Coley Reinhart of Los Angeles, CA; paternal grandmother, Marnie of Eugene, OR; paternal grandfather, Joseph of Eugene, OR; 3 children, Chloe Reinhart, Rain Robinson, Logan Reinhart; and their mother, Shantal Robinson, all of Los Angeles, CA; sisters, Jessica Reinhart of North Bergen, NJ, Ciara Fretty of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Michael Reinhart of Fort Plain, NY, Ryan Reinhart of Fort Plain, NY; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4:00-7:00PM at The Chapel of Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY.  Burial will take place in Fort Plain Cemetery at a later date.
