Mrs. Cathy M. Davis, 72, of Pickle Hill road, Fort Plain, NY died at home on Saturday November 26, 2022 unexpectedly. Cathy was born on April 24, 1950 in Little Falls, NY, the daughter of Robert Bowler and Betty King Bowler, both who predeceased her.

She had attended Fort Plain High School. Most recently she worked at Richardson Brands, prior to that she worked at Simtex in Fort Plain, Luxury and Palatine Dye.

Cathy was a lifelong area resident, was a member of the Freysbush United Methodist Church, she enjoyed Gardening, Canning, Baking, Traveling, Crocheting, Puzzles, and was a great mother and homemaker.

On October 26, 2007, in Old Forge, NY she married Kenneth A. Davis, Sr.

She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Jim L. Hogan, Sept 24, 2003, her parents, step-grandson Zaccaria Crankshaw, and a great-great granddaughter, and step son in law James Nizet.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth A. Davis, Sr; sons, Toby Hogan and Janene, Todd, and his wife Heather Hogan; daughter Cristy Hogan; Siblings, Debbie and her husband Ralph Taylor, Robert and his wife Sue Bowler, and Roberta and her husband Jonathan Gould; Grandchildren Chad Hogan, Paige and her husband Dylan Campo, Connor Hogan, Hallie Hogan, Keyana, Talee; stepchildren Kenneth Jr., and his wife Marlene Davis, Deborah and Donald Lockwood, Kevin and Candy Davis, Doreen Nizet, Darlene and Ronald Herringshaw, several step grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11AM, on Friday December 2nd, 2022, at Houghtaling and Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317, with a funeral following at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Freysbush Cemetery.
