Mr. Barry Asher, 70, of W. Main Street, Canajoharie, NY passed away at his home unexpectedly on August 24, 2022. He was born on November 18, 1951, in Rhinebeck, Ny the son of the late Harold and Ada Kipp Asher.

Barry was a graduate of Canajoharie High School, Class of 1970.

Most recently he was employed by WW Custom Clad until he was unable to work from an injury.

He lived all his life in the local area, and was a member of the BPOE Eagles #3846, Canajoharie, and the Canajoharie Moose, #853. He also enjoyed playing cards and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his sisters; Barbara and her husband Donald Darling, and Deborah LaPierre; Brother Harold Asher; his beloved cat Smoke and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday August 29, 2022, at the Fort Plain Cemetery at 11:00AM followed by a celebration of his life at the BPOE Eagles, Church Street, Canajoharie, NY, all are welcome to attend both services.
