Mrs. Barbara Grant Vosburgh, 93, of Mahr Road, Canajoharie, NY died on December 26, 2022, at the Palatine Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was born in Johnstown, NY on April29, 1929 the daughter of Leonard Grant and Louella " Louie" Bowen Clark.

Barbara graduated from Johnstown High School, class of 1947 and from Cazenovia College College class of 1949.

She was a mother and homemaker and lived her entire lifetime in the local area.

She was very active in many historical societies thought the Mohawk Valley and enjoyed weaving and hand quilting.

On September 16, 1950, in Johnstown, NY she married George Robert Vosburgh. After the honeymooned by going to the Adirondack Park and enjoying the Fulton Chain Lakes by canoe.

She was predeceased by her husband on April 21, 2012, daughter Barbara Lee, Son Dean Whitney Vosburgh, and Brother Whitney Grant.

Survivors include her sons; George O. and his wife Trish Vosburgh of Canajoharie, NY, and Gerald Wick Vosburgh of Grant Falls Washington state; Sister Katherine DeWitt; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring.
